Conferences, Seminars and Courses at The Baskerville Arms

Welcome to the Baskerville Arms Hotel!

If you are looking to run anything from a 1 day seminar for up to 70 people to a 5 day residential course for 15, then we may be able to help.  We are a country Inn close to the town of Hay on Wye to the north of the Brecon Beacons National Park.  We are situated in the small village of Clyro where the silence is deafening and the culture is deep!

We are a locals pub and restaurant and additionally have a large function room as well as 13 ensuite rooms upstairs.  So, if you would like something different for your your next gathering - then here we are!

The Charges and what we can provide.

Charges

Daily delegate rates start at £12 + VAT per person, per day (minimum 10 delegates.) and for that we provide coffee/tea & Croissants on arrival, a cold buffet lunch,  and coffee/tea & biscuits in the mid afternoon.  Iced Water is provided.  A full sit down lunch is also available from our daily menu at extra cost.  

Business aids

For a small additional fee we can provide flipcharts, stationary, large projector screen and internet linked PC etc.  Wifi is also available throughout the Inn. 

Accommodation

We have 13 ensuite rooms 3 of which are twin bedded.  We can therefore accommodate between 13 and 16 people ( 3 of which need to be friends in the latter case! ).  We may also be able to source accommodation in the immediate area for you.

Residential Cost example: For a 4 day course for 10 people staying mid-week (Sun-Thurs), with Breakfast, Lunch (cold Buffet) and 3 course Dinner the rate would be £95 per person, per night in a double ensuite room (single occupancy).  For anyone sharing a twin or double room, it would be £70 per person.

Up to 70 people  - Cinema Style

Up to 50 people - Restaurant Style

Up to 40 people  - Board Room Style

The small restaurant also makes an ideal board room scenario for up to 25 people.  Needless to say, the bar is available for those less formal gatherings of up to about 60 people.  Need to take the whole place?  Call us for possibilities.  A recent wake was around 180 people.

Food

We can provide from a simple buffet to a formal 3 course sit down meal.  Please call us to discuss your requirements.

Parking

There is free parking for around 15 cars in our car park and for a further (unknown!) number on the village circuit (no yellow lines!)
